One small step!

Class 1RS re- enacted the first flight to the moon, as part of their topic about those magnificent men in their flying machines.

They made their own moon-scape and used a box to make a rocket for Neil Armstrong – he was the first man on the moon.

Mr. Fann popped in to tell the children that he remembered when the first flight to the moon took place. He was playing on a slide on Cop Lane when the rocket took off in 1969!

Next time we will taste real space food! Do you think it will be nice!

      I want to be the first, (probably second, third, forth, fifth etc.) woman on the moon…
      That’s one of my ambitions!
