Year 3/4 Football Team

Next Wednesday, Sherwood will take part in the Preston Schools’ Year 3/4 Football tournament at Vida. Last year, we were victorious in this competition.

Mr Whelan has had ‘trials’ with both year groups and, after consultation with his scouts, (Mr Hudson, Mr Green, Mrs Wiles, Mr Wilson and Mrs Wild) he has selected his squad.

The following children need to get a letter off Mr Whelan on Thursday morning.

Well done to those selected and we are sure that they will represent Sherwood to the highest standards.

If you didn’t get selected, don’t get too downhearted. You never know, you may be selected for other teams in the future.

EDIT… A team have dropped out and I’ve put a second team in. Keep an eye on the blog to see who has been selected!

phew, I got gutted when i didn’t i got in the a team but im rocking now all thanks to mr whealan who chose a b team btw im going to get new goalie gloaves at sports direct my old ones were a right mess .I hope we can win the tournements and become victorious like last time well done to the lads who got in it
