Year One went partition crazy today. They started to find tens and units in two-digit numbers and moved on to find hundreds, tens and units in three-digit numbers!
Jonathan was the ‘mathmagician’ of the day – he was able to partition four-digit numbers!
The classes used their new skills to count how many straws and lollipop sticks there were in the science cupboard! Mr.Sutcliffe had accidentally dropped them all on the floor!

Well, when they danced really well, in their play, that showed me how courageous, talented and intelligent they are!
PS. If I spelt courageous wrong, it’s the spell check on my iPad!
year 1 must be very intelligent children if they can partition!
Yep!

Oooh!
That sounds hard!
I am pretty sure that year 1 found it easy though, as they are very intelligent children!!
